Dean J. Robinson has released version 1.1 of the admin plugin Fluency Admin. This plugin changes the way your dashboard looks just like the old Tiger-Admin (that does not work with WP 2.5).
Fluency is WordPress 2.5 only, and it will can make a mess of your plugins, due to CSS changes etc. Dean has a list of plugins that are compatible with Fluency. The new admin interface works with Safari, FireFox and IE8. IE7 support is on the way!
The WP-Gravatar plugin works fine with Fluency.
